3 REASONS TO EAT FRUITS AND VEGGIES IN THE SEASON


According to the time of the year and especially to the season we are in, not only does the weather change, but also the fruits and vegetables available do. 
Every season is characterized by the presence of different greens that grow naturally in a determined season, but that, nowadays can be found all year long due to the use of pesticides and trade with different countries in which they have the right climate to grow those greens that at that time of the year can’t be found in Italy.

 However, it is strongly recommended to eat the fruits and veggies in the season as they have many advantages such as the following:

1. TASTE 😋: one of the biggest advantages of eating the products in the season is that the taste is great and you’ll enjoy your greens even more!

2. HEALTH 🍅: as they grow naturally with the right climate, no pesticides are used to make them grow quicker and look better, as they already have these characteristics if been grown in the right season. Consequently, they will be sane and rich in all the nutrients.

3. PRICE 💸: if you buy the fruits and vegetables in the season you’ll also save up some money as they are found in bigger quantities and are easier to cultivate.

These were some of the main reasons why eating greens is already good for your health, but if you eat the ones in season it is even better! From now on, try and mind if the fruits and vegetables you are buying are really in the season and if not, then wait for the right period of the year to consume them and you’ll ENJOY them even more.
